What is the Italian 36% tax credit for eco-sustainable packaging?

It is a tax incentive that allows businesses to obtain a tax credit equal to 36% of eligible expenses incurred in purchasing eco-sustainable packaging (recycled paper/cardboard, biodegradable packaging, etc.).

It is available to active, registered companies in Italy that carry out an economic activity and have incurred expenses for packaging that meets the technical requirements set out in the decree.

A professional certification is required, confirming that the expenses were actually incurred, that payments are traceable and that the materials were used in the production cycle. It can be issued by a statutory auditor, a chartered accountant (dottore commercialista), a commercial expert or a CAF.

Invoices must be paid by traceable means (a bank account in the company's name) so that checks can be carried out.

How long does the effect of FERPLUS 4.8 last in the soil?

The effect of the [o,o] EDDHA iron chelate lasts 6–8 weeks, even in highly calcareous soils or soils with a high pH. It keeps iron stable and available in the soil for longer than other chelates such as EDTA or DTPA.

Is FERPLUS 4.8 fully absorbed by plants?

Yes, FERPLUS 4.8 contains iron chelated in [o,o] EDDHA form, the most stable form and immediately available to the roots. It is easily absorbed even by plants grown in calcareous or alkaline soils or irrigated with hard water.

Can it be applied through a fertigation system?

FERPLUS 4.8 is ideal for application by fertigation: it dissolves in water and is delivered directly to the roots. It is compatible with drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation and automatic systems.

If I irrigate heavily after application, does it reduce its effectiveness?

No, quite the opposite. FERPLUS 4.8 should be dissolved in water and applied to the soil, followed by normal irrigation to help it penetrate towards the root system. Water does not shorten the duration of the chelate.

Does the chemical analysis table (metals, residues, etc.) refer to the whole product?

Yes. The analyses report the residual levels of the FERPLUS 4.8 product. The corrective action comes exclusively from the [o,o] EDDHA chelated iron, which remains stable even in difficult conditions.

Is the product suitable for organic farming?

The [o,o] EDDHA iron chelate is permitted under organic farming standards as a corrector for iron chlorosis. FERPLUS 4.8 meets the requirements for use in organic farming.

Once the product has been applied to the soil, are any further treatments needed?

No additional treatment is needed. After application and normal irrigation, FERPLUS 4.8 remains active for 6–8 weeks. For very chlorotic plants, a foliar treatment can be added for faster action.

What are the delivery times from the moment of payment?

It depends on the shipping option chosen: delivery times range from 1 to 7 working days.

I run a certified organic farm: does FERPLUS 4.8 meet the required standards?

Yes, the product can be used in organic farming as a corrector of deficiencies. It is a specific iron chelate permitted under European standards and compliant with the required specifications.

How much solution should be applied to ensure effectiveness?

The recommended doses are:
– Orchards and vines: 125–250 ml of solution per 10 m²
– Vegetables: 40–125 ml of solution per 10 m²
– Flowers and turf: 40–150 ml of solution per 10 m²
The solution is made up of 100–120 g of product dissolved in 1 litre of water.

Can I treat the same area twice to speed up the effect?

You can apply it twice:
– as a foliar application for a faster effect (5–10 days)
– to the soil for a lasting effect
The two methods are complementary and do not carry any risk of overdosing.

In which situations is FERPLUS 4.8 particularly useful?

It is especially recommended in the case of:
– calcareous or alkaline soils (pH > 7)
– irrigation with hard water
– compacted or poorly aerated soils
– iron chlorosis that is already visible
In these cases the iron present in the soil is not available to the plant: FERPLUS 4.8 solves the problem by making it assimilable.

Which crops can it be used on?

– Fruit trees: citrus, apple, pear, peach, kiwi, cherry, vine
– Vegetables: tomato, pepper, aubergine, lettuce, spinach, legumes, potato, courgette
– Flowers and ornamentals: roses, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, camellias, azaleas
– Meadows and turf

How soon will I see the first improvements?

The leaves turn green again within 5–10 days. Plant growth and vigour improve over the following weeks thanks to the stability of the EDDHA.

Can I use FERPLUS 4.8 even if I am not sure my plants suffer from iron chlorosis? Is it also useful as a preventive measure? Is there a risk of overdosing?

Yes, FERPLUS 4.8 can also be used preventively, especially in calcareous or alkaline soils or soils irrigated with hard water, where iron deficiency tends to appear easily. The [o,o] EDDHA iron chelate is not phytotoxic, so there is no risk of overdosing the plant: if the soil is already rich in iron, the product simply remains stable in the soil without causing damage and will only be absorbed if needed.
In the event of a slight excess, the only possible effect is a temporary increase in the iron available in the soil, which neither harms the plant's health nor alters the pH. For this reason FERPLUS 4.8 is considered safe even as a seasonal preventive treatment.

How long does Prime Plant last?

The film lasts 5 to 7 months, depending on weather conditions and the amount of moisture in the soil.

Is Prime Plant completely natural?

Yes, the film is completely natural and neutral. It nourishes the soil and provides organic matter that benefits micro-organisms and the plant.

Can the film be laid by machine?

Prime Plant is designed specifically to be laid with an automatic mulch-laying machine, including with a transplanter or seeder. The film is elastic and withstands mechanical stress during laying.

How should the drip irrigation system be laid with this film?

The irrigation drip lines can be laid either on top of or underneath the film.

If placed on top of the film, the water will be absorbed and then released into the soil; the lifespan of the film will not be reduced, and it will help keep the film firmly in place on the soil even in strong winds.

If placed underneath the film, they will be protected from the sun.

What type of fertilisers are included in the film? A precise answer with the products and composition is requested.

The film contains two types of elements that act as natural fertilisers for the soil and plants, namely:

- the plant fibre of which the product is made

- two types of Ascophyllum Nodosum seaweed, first dissolved in water and then added to the pulp at 0.75 ml per m² (organic carbon 6%, mannitol 9 g/L)

Does the chemical analysis table (arsenic, lead, etc.) refer to the fertiliser incorporated in the film?

The table reports the residue analyses of the film. The fertilising action comes from the cellulose and the Ascophyllum Nodosum seaweed, first dissolved in water and then added to the pulp at 0.75 ml per m² (organic carbon 6%, mannitol 9 g/L).

Is it suitable for organic farming, considering the fertiliser released by the film?

The fertiliser added to the film is a solution of brown seaweed cream (Ascophyllum nodosum), a completely natural product with a specific biostimulant action that is permitted in organic farming.

Once the film is laid, how do I earth up the plants?

With this film there is no need to earth up.

What are the delivery times from the moment of payment?

Delivery times vary according to the shipping option selected: if you choose priority order processing and shipping, delivery takes a maximum of 3 working days; otherwise, a maximum of 7 working days.

I run a certified organic farm and everything brought onto it must meet the requirements for organic farming. Is your film certified for this use?

The film falls within the parameters set by the EU for use in organic farming: it is made from FSC pre-consumer recycled paper, leaves no residues and has a neutral pH. We are currently in the process of registering with the Mipaaf, but this does not prevent its use right now.

How many cm of the paper film need to be buried so that it holds even in strong winds?

Ideally, bury 10–15 cm of the film.

What is the weight of a 0.90 m by 100 m roll?

The weight of the roll is 13 kg.

Is it possible to overlap two 0.60 m strips of film to cover a 1-metre-wide bed, or is it better to use the 1.20 m one?

It is possible to overlap the films, but bear in mind that the whole joint must be secured with weights or soil; if you use the 1.20 m film, on the other hand, the central part is more resistant.
